About
Composing the present,
documenting the past.
A Saudi composer who learned Eastern music under the guidance of prominent musicians from Saudi Arabia and Egypt. In the years since, he has written for the Kingdom's greatest voices, studied the traditional music of the Arabian Peninsula, and helped build the institutions Saudi musicians were missing.
Trained in the Eastern tradition
Music, choral singing, solfège, Eastern instruments, music notation, and maqam theory — studied under prominent musicians from Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
